Cornton School Circus!
As a parent, I find the Cornton School is very irresponsible in the way they act to children and parents alike. I have found over the years, that the school is more interested in looking good by doing silly projects to raise money for the school, to spend on silly things. They constantly ask for money in some way, whether it be donations, or items to sell at a sale. I can even remember that some teachers went on trips to Scandinavia and a few other places, who paid for that?
The school is a disgrace, they have a crossing that's not safe; and despite the parents campaign for road restrictions, the school hindered rather than helped. The school grounds, now that's a different story, it has broken paving/edging that children have injured themselves on. Grass has dips in it and children are not allowed on the grass and have to play on the hard tarmac surfaces. Helpers who are out at playtime, don't always act when children tell them of others hitting, bullying etc., They don't have enough helpers out, but they will not admit that one.
Their time would be better spent creating a safe, friendly and good educational establishment, than trying to make the school look good on paper. If the heads/teachers spoke to the children in a reasonable manner, then maybe that would go a long way in shaping the children to speak properly and respect them.
I could say more, but I will leave that for another day.

Admin comment;
"I may be wrong, but I believe Teachers 'trips' are funded via grants etc., and not by using school funds. Although it should be noted that teachers are paid to teach our children; and one would expect them to be there to do just that".
